Crater Lake ski trip

Madison, Avery, and I had a fun day cross country skiing up at Crater Lake on Saturday. The night before they got 20" of new snow and the girls had a fun time falling off the trail into powder up over their head.

Avery somehow got her skis crossed so that the tow of her left ski was behind her right heel and the toe of her right ski was behind her left heal. She just stood there laughing saying she couldn't move.

We found a couple of good snow drifts below some 10' road cuts and had the girls jump off them into the snow below. They would land with a poof and disappear only to come wallowing up to the surface.
